The Hygiene and Sanitation Course is a mandatory requirement to work in the micropigmentation, tattooing and piercing sector.
Tattoo, micropigmentation and piercing professionals must possess the Health and Hygiene Certificate required by each Autonomous Community.
Having a Health and Hygiene Certificate is the minimum official qualification to guarantee safety and hygiene in tattoo and beauty centers.

Mandatory Health and Hygiene Certificate for Micropigmentation Artists - Tattoo Artists - Piercers
Our Online Hygiene and Sanitation Course for tattoo artists, micropigmentation artists and piercers, through the Ministry of Health, is approved by EVES in accordance with ORDER 1/2016, of April 12 , of the Ministry of Universal Health and Public Health , which regulates the basic content of hygiene and sanitation training courses, aimed at professionals who carry out tattooing, piercing or micropigmentation activities who do not possess the title of Intermediate or Higher Technician in Aesthetics and the procedure for the approval of training courses.
Hygiene and Sanitation Certificate
This course is aimed at all those who work in tattooing, piercing and micropigmentation and who do not have a degree as a Technician in Aesthetics (Intermediate or Higher).
It lasts for 46 teaching hours.
The course is approved by EVES by resolution dated 19/05/2016, of the Minister of Universal Health and Public Health of the Valencian Community, in accordance with Order 1/2016, of April 12 (DOCV no. 7768 of 19/04/2016), which regulates the basic content of the hygiene and health training courses, aimed at professionals of body care and aesthetics.
Decree 83/2002, of May 23, which complies with the regulations governing the practice of tattooing, micropigmentation, piercing or other similar techniques, as well as the requirements for the authorization and operation of establishments where these techniques are practiced.
